Welcome to Valentines’ School for the Arts.
At Valentines the only ones who are lucky enough to get in are those who have the grades to make it work. Of course money is also an issue, but if you’ve got the brains; you’ll most likely end up with a free ride. They only accept the best. Not in the sense of money, but in the sense of scholastics. Of course you’ll find those few who got in because daddy’s on the board (or because mommy owns the board), but the majority of students are those that actually reserved the right to be there. Valentines puts much focus on advanced research in each class, striving to bring out the best possible results for each and every student; pushing them to their limits and not at all shy about dropping a student when their grades can’t resurface. Many refer to Valentines’ as an Elitist school, and rightly so. The best teachers, politicians, authors, scientists, artists and critical thinkers can usually be linked back to Valentines’ School for the Arts. It’s a very prestigious school, one any student is lucky to receive and invitation to; just like any other Ivy League School.
Valentines strives for excellence in everything and with every student. Classes are challenging, but so are the students. It’s a competition; petty rivalries are what keep the students striving to be the best. There is no question as to how far some students will go to make it to the top in their class. But the competitions don’t just stay in class or even on campus. Run into a rival off campus and see how things pan out. You’re going to need your friends just as much as you’ll need your enemies.
Welcome to Valentines' School for the Arts, I hope you’re ready for a challenge. Not just in class either.
